Banked reset granted to 500,000 ChatGPT Work and Codex users after a reset-button bug
ChatGPT usage limits were reset 8 days ago.
Tibo Sottiaux (OpenAI): after launching banked-reset access on web and mobile (previously desktop-only), a bug meant fewer than 10% of users who pressed reset during a roughly 2-hour window didn't actually get one; rather than track down exactly who was affected, OpenAI added a banked reset to every account that pressed the button in that window — about 500,000 users.
